This week, the CID team is faced with the challenge of saving the life of a famous child magician who goes missing during his act.

The story revolves around a kid and his father who are well known for their great magic shows. However, in the middle of their act the child magician goes missing and his father's dead body appears instead of him.

On further investigation by the CID team, it is revealed that the kid was kidnapped by someone who killed his father and wanted to use the child for some criminal activity. The kid decides to help the cops by using his talent to catch the criminal for killing his father. Unfortunately, kid's life is in danger as he is the only one who knew all the tricks of the master.

CID and Mysterious magicians

CID has never failed to surprise its audience by showcasing cases which are full of twists and turns. This week once again, the CID team is all ready to shock its audience with their case.

The story centres on a set of mysterious magicians who come in strange and colourful disguises to a posh party to mesmerise the guests with their work. They do a body-floating magic trick on a guest by the name of Pritam. All seems to be going well when suddenly the party comes to an end. Pritam returns dead from the sky and the magicians too go missing. Parallel to this, a man is found dead in the warehouse and the investigation by the CID team links it to the magician. The CID team gets in a full fledged investigation to solve this trail of the mystery magicians and their motive behind selective killing.

18 years of glory !!!!!!!!!!!

 

CID had started off way back in 1998 and ever since then, Indian television was never the same. One of the most loved series of all times, CID completed 17 long years and is moving ahead to its 18th year. As a part of its celebrations, the team has decided to give its audience a treat this January 26.

CID completes 17 years on January 21 and this Republic Day, Sony will have an entire day airing CID episodes. CID has been one of the most appreciated and loved serials on TV for almost two decades now and the characters too have managed to strike a chord with the audience.

Whether it's ACP Pradyuman's 'Kuchh toh garbar hai' or it's Daya's door-breaking antics, CID has had a lot of cheers for its moments ever since its inception. And now that the makers have decided to air CID all day, it's certainly going to be a visual treat for all CID fans. And what better day than Republic Day to have such a celebration.

The entire CID team has always stood as an embodiment of bravery and courage, hence airing CID throughout the day will definitely be a stark change from the usual Republic Day proceedings that aim at showcasing patriotic films to bring out that essence of patriotism amongst all. 

The cops try to solve the bizarre mystery of a person drowning in an elevator!

A tarot card reader prophesizes to a rich businessman Rajeev that he should stay away from water as it can be fatal for him. Now, he gets paranoid on the watershed day of his life when he is selling his company.As the union workers are protesting the sale, he decides to retire to his tenth floor room in the hotel. However, the lift is stuck and by the time he is brought out, he is found drenched in water and dead! The forensic report also says that he died of drowning.

STORY SO FAR

ACP Pradyuman is considered the upholder of justice! He shot and killed his own psychotic son when he got embroiled with criminals. But ACP is in for a huge shock when he sees his own dead son Nakul standing in front of him.
Nakul has come back from the dead to seek revenge against his own father! He is now an integral part of an international terrorist gang and is wreaking havoc across the globe. He is responsible for bomb blasts in 15 countries and is continuing the terror trail in Mumbai.
As ACP Pradyuman comes face-to-face with his son, Nakul doesn’t even think twice before pulling the trigger on his father and shoot him dead in the middle of the sea. The entire team is traumatized by this sudden turn of events but they continue to pursue Nakul.
How did Nakul come back from the dead? Is this terrorist the same son of ACP? If ACP is dead, who will lead the CID team?
